We Really Tried...

We want to support the BlackBerry PlayBook, but for now we can't. The current version of the PlayBook operating system provides no way to import contact information from other applications or websites. RIM engineers suggest that this capability might come in the future, but for now, we're all out of luck.

But maybe not! One service that the PlayBook supports very well is Gmail. If you have a Gmail or Google Apps account, you can export this contact now using our Gmail exporter.

Then, on your PlayBook, configure your Gmail account in the "Accounts" settings pane. Make sure you activate Contact Syncing (see picture below).

How to associate vCards with Lotus Notes

You want to ensure that when you open Eric's card, Lotus Notes will launch and import it. If another program like Microsoft Outlook launches instead, follow these simple steps to set Lotus Notes as the default handler for these types of files.

Click on ContactMonkey's Lotus Notes icon, and click the 'Download Card' link.
Save the file to your desktop
Right-click the file you just saved, and then either click Open With or point to Open With and then click Choose Default Program
Click the program that you want to use to open this file (i.e. Lotus Notes). If Lotus Notes is not listed, search your computer for the file 'notes.exe'. Find the path to that file. Then return to that list and click 'browse' and put in the path to that file. The card should now open in Lotus Notes. Then click 'Save'.

The file should then have been saved in the Lotus Notes Personal Address Book.
